My name is Nadine (Dee) Lugton. I have been interested in masks for about 10 years. I was trained the ancient technique of the 16th and 17th century venetian paper-mache mask making. Each of my masks are unique. They are different from the typical venetian masks. I decided I wanted to modernize my masks so I have used scenic themes for many of them. They are multi-cultural, earthy creations. Each mask tells a story and their names reveal who they are. My masks are completely handcrafted and painted. All designs and patterns are my own creation. I use eco friendly materials. Some of the masks are for decorating. The faces are slightly smaller. I have identified in their description if they are wearable masks.
